Mode Print Solutions recently visited a Queens Park design company who had consistent issues with increasingly poor quality prints from their previous supplier. Here’s how we helped them to find a solution.
The Company’s Issue
When we spent time with our clients, it became apparent that the company’s business was being severely affected by the quality of print they were receiving. They also had huge running expenses from their machines’ leasing costs and enormous run outs that were being left on the printer, unclaimed by their employees!
Our clients also commented to the Mode team that when they did have an issue with one of the machines, their supplier was never able to get an engineer to them the same day to resolve the issue. This had quite a negative impact on their business.
Our greatest frustration at Mode is poor service delivered by the industry at high costs! Once we had spent some time with our clients and understood their requirements, we were able to deliver a solution that resolved these issues.
First, we supplied software to them that monitored company usage so they could understand their printing patterns (what they printed, by whom, and by which department). We also introduced the design company to our print release system ‘FollowMe Printing’, which allows each member of the company to release their print job from any enabled output device.
Then we took our clients to the Xerox show room, as we wanted to personally demonstrate the quality of an EFI Fiery Network Print Server, and the benefits of what we could deliver as a Premier Partner for Xerox.
Our team was able to demonstrate flexibility in our approach. As a design studio, our clients are often working at tight deadlines and need to be reactive.
